A chain reaction
The causes of the World War II have never been definite. Each country believes it was caused by different factors, but most of them agree on several. The terms can be divided into long term and short term causes. One long term cause might have been the Treaty of Versailles. When World War I ended, Germany wasn't left at a good position at all, and this treaty made them pay for damages made in The First War. Germans were really mad about the standards they were left in. So slowly, year by year, they went recovering and started to fight for what they had lost, immediately blaming the Jews for their disgrace. Another long term solution that was very obvious was the inability of the League of Nations. This organization was meant to solve international issues, but it did not succeed.
A main cause was Adolf Hitler's desire to gain control over all Europe. He was known to be a great speaker, which eventually made Germans be convinced in what he talked about.
